Best Fishing Times
WALLEYE FISHING
LIMITS are March and April four fish per day, May 1st through February
29th is 6 fish per day.
Size limit is minimum of 15 inches throughout the year.
Our walleye fishing season starts in April, weather permitting. This is a good
time for trophy walleye and numbers of fish.
May trophy walleye fishing is fair with abundance of two - five pound walleye
catches.
June, July and August are very good months for two - five pound fish.
September and October are fair to good months for trophy walleye and numbers.
WALLEYE FISHING METHODS
April through mid May we will be casting jigs tipped with minnows and twister
tails.
May through October we will be using worm harnesses, flipping harnesses and
weapons tipped with night crawlers.
SMALL MOUTH BASS FISHING
LIMITS are five fish per day, minimum size is 14 inches.
We start fishing for small mouth bass in mid May.
May and June are catch and release only. Bass season is closed May 1st through
June 28th.
June 28th through October is good bass fishing with a good number of trophy
bass taken. We promote catch and release.
SMALL MOUTH BASS FISHING METHODS
Tube jigs, soft-shell craws and minnows.
YELLOW PERCH FISHING
LIMITS are thirty fish per day, size limits none.
We start fishing for yellow perch in April.
April, May and June are fair to good fishing.
July through October is very good to excellent fishing for yellow perch.

SALMON FISHING on Lake Ontario
LIMITS are 3 per person per day. Possession limit six.
Mid-July through September for best fishing.
